Your privacy matters to me. This policy explains what information I collect, how I use it and the choices you have. It covers hearthandspiral.com and the services of Cosmic Odyssey LLC, doing business as Hearth & Spiral. It also covers the chart generators, chart reports and the Mandala 64 deck from Solstellia, Inc. In this policy, "I" and "me" mean both.
What I collect
Contact details like your name and email when you take the quiz, join a waitlist, book a session or write to me.
Birth information like your date, time and place of birth when you book a reading or use the chart generators.
What you share in sessions, including notes I take to support our work together.
Payment details, which are handled by my payment processor. I never see or store your full card number.
Basic website data like your browser type, pages visited and general location, collected through cookies and analytics.
How I use it
To provide your readings, sessions, programs and products
To send you what you asked for, like your field guide or chart
To schedule sessions and process payments
To send occasional emails about the seasons and my offerings, which you can stop anytime
To understand how people use the site so I can improve it
I never sell your personal information.
Who I share it with
I share information only with the services that help me run my business, and only what each one needs to do its job:
Squarespace hosts this website.
Stripe processes payments.
TidyCal handles session booking.
Kit sends my emails.
Zoom hosts online sessions and groups.
Google Workspace holds my email and files.
Each of these companies has its own privacy policy. I may also share information if the law requires it or to protect someone's safety.
Cookies
This site uses cookies to keep it working and to see how people find and use it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well without them.
Every email I send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. You can also reply to any email and ask me to remove you.
How long I keep it
I keep your information only as long as I need it to work with you, run my business and meet legal or tax requirements. Session notes are kept private and deleted when they're no longer needed.
Keeping it safe
I use trusted services with strong security and keep my own accounts protected. No system is perfectly secure, but I take care with everything you share.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information I have about you, correct it or have it deleted. Just email me and I'll take care of it within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have other privacy rights under your local laws, and I'll honor them.
Children
These services are meant for adults. I don't knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you think a child has shared information with me, email me and I'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If I update this policy, I'll change the effective date at the top of this page.
