These terms apply to everything offered by Cosmic Odyssey LLC, doing business as Hearth & Spiral ("Hearth & Spiral," "I," "me" or "my"), through hearthandspiral.com and related platforms. Products sold by Solstellia, Inc. have their own terms, described in section 7. By booking a session, joining a program, buying a product or using the free tools on this site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use these services.
1. Who can use these services
You must be at least 18 years old to book, buy or join, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using these services you agree to follow these terms and all applicable laws.
2. Services
Hearth & Spiral offers astrology, Human Design and astrocartography readings, including partner readings. We also offer Embodied Breath Journeys and other breath and somatic sessions, group mentorship and private mentorship, courses and workshops, and digital products such as field guides. Free tools on this site include the season quiz and the astrology and Human Design chart generators. The chart generators, chart reports and the Mandala 64 deck are products of Solstellia, Inc., described in section 7.
These services are for personal insight, reflection, creativity and education. They are not a substitute for medical, psychological, financial or legal advice, diagnosis or treatment. My work can sit alongside therapy and other care, and it doesn't replace them. Please talk with a qualified professional about any medical, mental health, financial or legal concern.
3. Booking and payment
Sessions are booked in advance through this website or another platform I've approved. Full payment is due when you book unless a payment plan is offered. I accept major credit and debit cards, processed securely through Stripe. Prices may change, and any change won't affect a session or program you've already paid for.
For readings, I'll need accurate birth information: your date and place of birth and your birth time as exactly as you know it. Readings are prepared from the information you give me, and I can't be responsible for differences that come from an incorrect birth time or place.
4. Rescheduling and cancellations for private sessions
More than 48 hours before your session: you can reschedule once at no charge, or cancel for a refund minus a 5% processing fee.
Within 48 hours of your session: sessions can't be refunded. If something comes up, reach out and I'll do my best to help you reschedule.
Late arrivals: if you're late, we'll still end at the scheduled time.
No-shows: if you don't arrive within 15 minutes of the start time without letting me know, the session counts as used.
If I need to reschedule or cancel: I'll offer you new times or a full refund, whichever you prefer.
Prepared readings and reports that have already been delivered can't be refunded.
The old terms said "may be eligible for rescheduling or a partial refund," which leaves people guessing. These are clearer. Change the numbers to whatever feels right to you.
5. Group mentorship, courses and workshops
Turning Lead to Gold and other group programs. Your first payment holds your place. If you choose a payment plan, you agree to complete all payments on schedule, even if you stop attending. If a payment fails and isn't resolved within 7 days, I may pause your access until it is.
Refunds before the program begins: you can cancel for a full refund minus a 5% processing fee up to 14 days before the first session. After that, I can move your place to a future group instead of refunding.
Refunds after the program begins: payments can't be refunded once the program has started, and missed sessions can't be refunded. Sessions are recorded so you can catch up.
If I cancel or change dates: I'll offer you a place in a future group or a full refund.
Hearthside private mentorship. Sessions are scheduled together and follow the rescheduling terms in section 4. Unused sessions expire two months after your planned end date unless we agree on something else.
Courses and workshops. Live workshops can be refunded up to 7 days before they start. After that, you'll receive the recording if one is made. Self-paced courses can't be refunded once you've accessed the materials.
Group agreements. Group spaces depend on trust. By joining, you agree to keep what others share private and to treat everyone with respect. I may remove anyone whose behavior disrupts or harms the group, without a refund.
These are suggested terms for the mentorship. Pick the numbers you're comfortable with before doors open at the Solstice, and make sure the checkout page says the same thing.
6. Digital products, free tools and email
Digital products. Field guides, downloads and other digital products are for your personal use. Because they're delivered right away, they can't be refunded. If a file doesn't open or a link doesn't work, email me and I'll make it right.
Free tools. The season quiz is offered by Hearth & Spiral, and the free astrology and Human Design charts are provided by Solstellia, Inc. Both are offered as they are, for reflection and fun. Chart calculations depend on the birth information you enter. I work to keep these tools accurate, but I can't guarantee they'll always be available or free of errors.
Email. When you take the quiz, download a guide or join a waitlist, you'll be added to my email list so I can send what you asked for and occasional notes about the seasons and my offerings. You can unsubscribe anytime with the link at the bottom of every email.
7. Products from Solstellia, Inc.
The astrology and Human Design chart generators, chart reports and the Mandala 64 deck are created and sold by Solstellia, Inc., a Delaware corporation. When you buy one of these products, Solstellia, Inc. is the seller, and charges will appear under its name. Those purchases are covered by Solstellia's own Terms of Use at solstellia.life. 8. Your health and wellbeing
Breathwork, movement and somatic practices can bring up strong sensations and emotions. Before you take part, please talk with your healthcare provider if you are pregnant or have a heart condition, high blood pressure, epilepsy, glaucoma, a recent injury or surgery, or a history of serious mental health conditions. You know your body best. You're always free to slow down, pause or stop any practice, and you take part at your own risk.
9. No guarantees and limits of liability
I can't promise any particular result. What you do with the insight you gain is your own choice and responsibility. To the fullest extent the law allows, Hearth & Spiral isn't liable for any decisions, actions or outcomes that come from using these services. If I am found responsible for anything, my liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.
10. Privacy and confidentiality
What you share in our sessions stays between us, unless the law requires me to share it or someone's safety is at risk. Your birth information and other personal details are used only to provide your services and are never sold. You can read more in my Privacy Policy.
11. Recordings
Private sessions may be recorded for you to keep, and only with your permission. Group sessions are recorded so participants can catch up, and recordings are shared only with the group. Please don't record, share or post any session or recording yourself.
12. Intellectual property
Everything I create is mine, including session materials, readings, field guides, courses, artwork, the Spiral Map and the writing on this site. You're welcome to use it for your own personal growth. Please don't copy, share, resell or teach it without my written permission. The chart generators, chart reports and the Mandala 64 deck belong to Solstellia, Inc.
Check that the Privacy Policy link goes to your real privacy page. If you don't have one yet, Squarespace has a template, and I can help write it.
13. Using this site respectfully
Please use this site and my services only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
Hack, overload or scrape the site, or use bots to copy its content
Send spam or pretend to be someone else
Upload anything harmful, hateful or that infringes someone else's rights
Share another participant's private information
I may suspend or end access for anyone who misuses the site or my services.
14. Other services and links
I use trusted companies to run my business, including Squarespace, Stripe, TidyCal, Kit and Zoom. Payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms. This site may also link to other websites, and I'm not responsible for their content or practices.
15. Provided as is
This site, the free tools and my services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, I make no warranties of any kind, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose. I can't promise the site will always be available or free of errors.
16. Indemnification
If you misuse these services or break these terms and someone brings a claim against Hearth & Spiral because of it, you agree to cover the resulting costs, including reasonable legal fees.
17. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. When I do, I'll change the effective date at the top of this page. The terms in place when you booked or bought something are the ones that apply to that purchase.
18. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico. If a problem comes up, please email me first and I'll do my best to work it out with you. If we can't resolve it within 30 days, either of us may bring a claim in the state or federal courts located in Santa Fe County, New Mexico. Any claim must be brought within one year of when it arose, and only on an individual basis, not as part of a class action.
19. General
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If I don't enforce a part of these terms right away, I haven't given up the right to enforce it later. These terms and my Privacy Policy are the full agreement between us about these services. Nothing in them creates a partnership, employment or agency relationship between us.
If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, email me with a description of the work and where it appears, and I'll look into it right away.
